CYCLING IN PARK HILL RECREATION GROUND AND LLOYD PARK

Cycle routes are to open in the New Year in Park Hill Recreation Ground and Lloyd Park as part of a scheme to improve cycling links. We are concerned about what this mean for pedestrians in these parks but the Council say that they have modified their earlier plans and that cycling will not be allowed if cyclists are acting inconsiderately or putting other people at risk. We expect that, as part of this scheme, the long-awaited zebra crossing will be installed in Park Hill Road, in place of the present refuge by St Matthew’s Church.
