Much of Spring 2025 has been kind to gardeners. Now that we have had some rain the snails, slugs and weeds are returning and wanted plants are grateful and growing. The volunteers who look after the Walled Garden in Park Hill Park will need extra help. So come along on Sunday 27 April from 10am to 12 noon to help or encourage. Wear sensible clothes and shoes and bring your own gloves – the volunteers will supply toolsetc. Children and those who need help should bring a carer with them.
Gardening takes place most Sundays, weather permitting, but not on Easter Sunday when the volunteers are taking a day off.
