The Cub Scouts from the 7th/12th Croydon have decided, as part of the World Challenge Award project to set up a fund raiser. The funds raised will be split 50/50 towards Great Ormond Hospital along with the extension and refurbishment of our Headquarters.
As a Scout group, we are a Charity and are always seeking volunteers to help deliver exciting opportunities for our young people, but also need help behind the scenes, outside of our weekly sessions. Currently we are seeking a volunteer to be quartermaster among other roles. The money raised will allow us to cater for our growing number of young people and give them better and more suited facilities.
Our event will take place on the Sunday 27th April, at our Scout HQ, 35a Birdhurst Rise, South Croydon CR2 7EJ, from 1pm to 6pm. There will be games and activities for children to take part. There’ll also be a bake sale and an opportunity to socialise and get to see young people doing good.
Entry is £3 per adult, children enter free. Price may vary for activities
