The closure of part of the tram network over half term has been well advertised. it will be closed from Saturday 10 February to Friday 23 from Sandilands to Reeves Corner. There will be a replacement bus service. Tfl’s website indicates that the 64 and 433 will only be on diversion on the weekend of 10-11 February. but pedestrian routes will also be affected. there is a barrier up between East Croydon station and the tram tracks. Pedestrians are being told there is no access to the bus stops and are being directed down to Dingwall Road, across George Street and back up to the next crossing to get to the bus towards Park Hill. We were told this would be in place for the full two weeks.
We understand that access to Lloyd Park from Park Hill is also disrupted.
