A less icy litter pick is planned for June 15th. Save the date – details to follow.
A huge thank you to the 20+ volunteers who braved the bitter cold on Sunday 12th January to attend our winter litter pick.
Thanks to your efforts we were able to collect 32 bags of mixed rubbish. Whilst not a record hall, it is still significant and we are pleased that our verges and wooded areas are now clearer. In addition, we found some heavy duty sheeting, carpeting, wood and mirrored panels, many hubcaps, a broken push chair and various items associated with road signage.
We would like to thank the council for their support and also their contractors, Veolia.
