Very many thanks to the 25 or so volunteers who joined us for our community litter pick on Sunday 14th June. The weather Gods smiled on us, and we enjoyed pleasant sunshine and a gentle breeze.
Thanks to your efforts we were able to collect a significant amount of mixed rubbish. Veolia were so prompt that we didn’t get an accurate bag count, but as you can see – your efforts led to our verges and wooded areas being much cleaner.
We would like to thank the Council for their support and also their contractors, Veolia.
