Barbecues are not allowed in parks. Another area of burnt grass has been found in a local Park with coals near by. At its simplest children could get burnt and dogs could wander over the embers. Even worse, in this hot and dry weather large areas of the park – or even parts of ParkHill itself could go up in flames. So confine your barbecues to your house or if you have no garden settle for the grill on your cooker. Safer to take a picnic to the park.
