Record Litter Pick

Many thanks to all who braved the warnings of wind to help clean up Park Hill. We had around 34 volunteers, which is a lot for us… and they collected 59 bags of rubbish, as well as some hubcaps, a suitcase, a metal trolley and various other bits of hardware. We're not used to extreme heat during our litter picks - cold weather or rain and mud are more common problems. Join our summer litter collection on Sunday 25 June. Meet from 12 noon at the bench near the sundial at St Matthew's Church. Successful litter pick

PHRA hosted another record litter pick. 28 volunteers collected 52 bags of rubbish, as well as an assortment of road signs, a traffic cone, matting, hubcaps, roofing material, and other items. The streets look much tidier. Many thanks to all those who helped.  ... Read more
